Rules of Procedure

#

Upon admission of the patient

  • 1. When carrying out the hospital admission process, you will be asked to make an initial deposit, which will be indicated by the area staff.
  • 2. For the delivery of the control of the screen and decoder, a responsive "voucher" will be prepared and you will request to make a deposit that will be returned to you at the time of your discharge, except in the event of loss or damage to the equipment.

Packages

  • 3. In case of entering through a package, it must be paid 100%.

Protecting belongings

  • 4. For your comfort and protection, there is a safe in the room to deposit valuables and belongings. Hospital MAG Medical Satélite is not responsible for the theft or loss of these.

Stay and Visits

  • 5. All visitors must identify themselves and register upon arrival with the Reception Staff in the Lobby, who will give them a badge that they must wear in a visible place.
  • 6. Patient visiting hours are:
    • a. In the hospitalization area from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
    • b. In critical care areas, it is:
      • i. Morning from 10:00 a.m. to 10:20 a.m.,
      • ii. Evening from 6:00 p.m. to 6:20 p.m.
  • 7. The information on the status of the patients will only be given by the treating physician to an assigned family member.
  • 8. All minor patients who are hospitalized must be accompanied at all times by a responsible family member of legal age.
  • 9. Only TWO people will be allowed to visit the hospitalization room, in critical areas ONE person will be allowed at the established times. In case of contingency, the number of visitors will be restricted in accordance with the instructions of the authorities for their safety.
  • 10. The visit of children under 12 years of age in the hospitalization area and critical areas is prohibited, by order of the Secretary of Health.
  • 11. For the safety and hygiene of our patients, it is forbidden to introduce food, flower arrangements, fruits, balloons, stuffed animals, healing material, medicines, electrical items and/or pets.
  • 12. Food service in the room is part of the treatment of our patients, it is forbidden to provide food to the patient.
  • 13. Only one companion per room may stay overnight.
  • 14. This is a smoke-free institution, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the facilities.
  • 15. All visitors must remain silent in the waiting rooms, corridors and rooms. Out of respect for our patients, no type of celebration or toast is allowed in the rooms.
  • 16. Drinking alcoholic beverages in the hospital is prohibited.
  • 17. Visitors under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed.
  • 18. It is forbidden to enter firearms and/or sharp weapons.
  • 19. Internal signs must be respected.
  • 20. It is strictly forbidden to wander around the facilities, enter hospital medical services with exclusive access for authorized health personnel, and/or enter rooms other than the one designated for your patient.
  • 21. For privacy, visitors are prohibited from recording video and/or photography on the premises. Cell phones will be allowed in silent mode.
  • 22. Activating fire alarms due to a false alarm will be cause for sanction before the corresponding authorities.
  • 23. The hospital is responsible for the water indicated by the doctor, if additional water is required for the companion, it will be provided with an additional charge.

Patient Discharge

  • 24. The patient's discharge will be granted by the treating physician through the clinical file to notify the Nursing Staff and Staff Physician who will prepare the patient for discharge from the service.
  • 25. The Nursing Staff will report the Medical Discharge to the Admissions Staff to carry out the administrative procedure; that is, the closing of the account statement and/or authorization before the insurer in agreement.
  • 26. To close the administrative process, the Admissions Executive will go to the room to notify the status of your account and/or the process with the insurer.
  • 27. When paying the hospital account, medical fees, and/or having the authorization of the insurer in agreement, the Admissions Executive will give you 2 "Exit Passes", which you must give to the Nursing staff and security personnel.
  • 28. If the medical discharge is granted after 12:01 p.m. and before 8:00 p.m., a charge of 50% of the cost of the room and equipment will be made. After 8:00 p.m. the charge will be 100%.
  • 29. The Hospital Staff is not authorized to request interbank transfers by telephone. If you receive calls of dubious origin, hang up and check directly with the Admissions Staff.

Voluntary Exit

  • 30. In case of voluntary discharge (voluntary discharge), even against medical advice, the patient or a family member, their guardian or legal representative, must sign a document that clearly states the reasons for the discharge. In any case, the aforementioned voluntary discharge document will relieve the Hospital and its staff of responsibility.

Insurers

  • 31. In the event that the insurer does not cover the account, the patient and/or family member will be responsible for paying 100% of the account statement.
  • 32. Medical fees are not included in the hospital bill, the patient must check directly with their Treating Physician.

Payment method

  • 33. In case of prolonged hospitalization and/or use of critical services, the patient must keep the account 100% covered, so the Admission staff will report the account status daily at the established time.
